Invitation to Prayer
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land

1 Corinthians 8:7 pray that we excel in this grace of giving; & that like the Macedonian Christians will eagerly desire the privilege of sharing with the saints.
1 Corinthians 9:6-11 pray that our generosity will bring praise to God
1 Peter 4:10 pray that we be good stewards of the gifts God has placed within us.
1 Chronicles 29 pray that we give GOD the glory due his name; that we bring our offerings (our gifts, service, joys, concerns, ourselves) and truly worship in holiness (& in unity).
Philippians 3:12-4:1 pray that we persevere in the faith and live up to the example that Paul and others have set before us. Pray that stand firm in the LORD as those who eagerly wait for his coming. Pray that we understand the urgency of living and witnessing for Christ.
Pray for the church:
Needs: Commitment of individuals to the church; faith development; that we learn good stewardship (of all resources); that our Sunday School continue to grow; attention to the 5 practices
Pray for souls: 2 Peter 3:9 reminds us that God wants everyone to be saved; pray that God give us a passion for souls
Healing… (Exodus 15:26c “I am the God that healeth thee.”; Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24, by His stripes we are healed)
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21
